The Fort Benning Spouses Club is a volunteer driven, private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing information, philanthropic and social opportunities to our members while making charitable contributions to our military and local communities.

Our membership is open to spouses from all services and all ranks of the military, including retiree spouses.

5:30-7:30pm.

November Luncheon

Please join the Spouses Club for Glitz and Glamour luncheon!

November 12th, from 11 am to 1 pm.

Hosted at the 1918 Club on Fort Benning.

(7010 Morrison Rd.)

We will be having garden salad with creamy tomato basil soup, chicken cordon blue bistro sandwiches and lemon bars for dessert.

Feel free to come in sweats, cocktail, evening dresses or your Sunday best clothes. What ever makes you feel glamorous.

We will have our normal photo props to take pictures, but we will also have a 360 photo booth for more fun pictures.

Our community outreach is Santa's Castle and they sure need our help this year. Please bring a toy or gift cards to donate.

About Us

The Fort Benning Spouses’ Club (FMSC) is a combined spouses organization that operates on Fort Benning, GA. Our mission is to provide opportunities of leadership, friendship, service, and support to our members and the Fort Benning community.

Membership

Our membership year runs from September to May with our annual membership drive occurring in August each year. Our members enjoy social events and interest-based clubs as well as contribute to Fort Benning and the greater Columbus community through volunteerism and charitable giving.

Events

The Spouses Club offers a variety of events and opportunities to socialize and become involved in the community. We achieve this through monthly luncheons and three annual fundraisers which include the Wreath and Tree Auction, Tour of Homes and a themed auction.

Thrift Store

In addition to these events, we operate one store front, The Spouses Club Thrift Store. The business is predominantly run by volunteers. The Spouses Club Thrift Store offers a wide variety of gently used items from furniture, clothing, children’s toys and much more. The proceeds raised through these fundraisers and The Spouses Club Thrift Store are disbursed annually in the form of community grants and scholarships. Over the past four years, we have donated over $360,000.

Operation Deploy Your Dress

Operation Deploy Your Dress has teamed up with the Fort Benning Spouses Club to collect formal attire and accessories and "deploy" them to the military members and family members of the Fort Benning Community FREE of charge in order to offset the cost of military balls and other formal events.
